AuditForge — Free Co-Delivery for Audit Firms

Pick one of your current engagements. Run it through AuditForge. Your partners review every finding. The deliverable goes out under your firm's brand. We capture a case study. No fee. No contract beyond a one-page agreement. You keep the client relationship.

What AuditForge does

An AI-assisted document review engine specifically built for audit and advisory firms. It handles the document-heavy portion of your engagement — the part where partner time gets eaten by reading 200 pages of policies, contracts, attestations, SOPs to find conflicts, gaps, stale references, and flow-down failures.

Three properties that matter for partner trust:

  1. Every finding cites a verbatim quote from the source document, anchored to page and section. Hallucinations are caught by the platform before findings ever reach the partner.

  2. Your partner reviews every finding before delivery. Accept, reject, refine, or edit each one. The deliverable carries your firm's logo, your colors, your methodology disclaimer, your footer. AuditForge is invisible to your client.

  3. Every LLM call is logged. When your client's procurement reviewer asks "show me how this audit was conducted," you hand them a complete reasoning trail.

What you'd run an audit on

Best fit: document-review-heavy engagements where the partner-to-associate ratio creates a bottleneck.

  • CMMC Level 2 pre-assessment / readiness gap analysis
  • SOC 2 Type 1 readiness review
  • HIPAA Security Rule assessment
  • FedRAMP advisory document review
  • FAR / DFARS / agency contract compliance reviews
  • M&A due diligence (data room contracts and policies)
  • Internal-audit periodic refresh

Worst fit: tax work (different toolchain), transaction-level testing (sampling, not document review), litigation support (privilege concerns).

What the co-delivery looks like

  • Week 1: Pick the engagement. Sign a one-page agreement. Upload the corpus (5–10 minutes drag-and-drop).
  • Week 1–2: AuditForge runs the audit. Partner reviews findings as they appear. We're on a call together for the first review session.
  • Week 2–3: Deliverable export (DOCX + Markdown + JSON) — your brand. You deliver to your end client per your normal workflow.
  • Week 3: 30-minute debrief — what worked, what didn't, would you pay $1,500 to run another one?

Total partner time investment: ~8 hours across two weeks. Your associate workload: zero (we're standing in for the document-grind associate hours).

Why free

Because AuditForge has not yet completed a paid engagement with a friendly partner firm. We need:

  • A real-corpus validation of the engine (synthetic test data ≠ real defense-contractor PDFs)
  • A case study to show subsequent prospects ("here's a firm that used this")
  • Your honest critique to inform the product

What you get:

  • A completed engagement at zero cost
  • An edge on competitors who are still doing document review by hand
  • First-mover access to a tool that compresses 8-week engagements into 2-week engagements
  • No obligation. After the co-delivery, you decide whether to do another one at $1,500

Data & security posture (honest disclosure)

  • All your data lives in a per-engagement S3 bucket isolated from other firms' engagements
  • Encrypted at rest (AES-256), in transit (TLS), versioned, public-access-blocked
  • Sub-processors (AWS, Anthropic, OpenAI, Vercel, GitHub) listed at docs.base2ml.com/auditforge/sub-processors
  • LLM providers operate in no-training mode — no client data is used to improve any model
  • What we don't have yet: SOC 2 Type 1 report, penetration test report, cyber liability insurance. These are honest gaps for a one-person shop. If your end client requires these, defer this co-delivery until we have them (mid-2027).

Roles, expressly

You are the auditor of record. Your firm signs off on every finding. AuditForge is a tool you use — same as you'd use audit-management software, statistical sampling tools, or any other technology. The deliverable is your professional work product.

The methodology disclaimer baked into every deliverable formalizes this: "[Firm Name] used AI-assisted document review tooling during this engagement. All findings have been reviewed and validated by a senior partner before delivery."
